- Adopt-A-Park: Get involved in Adopt-A-Park. Adopt-A-Park is an opportunity to volunteer at one of Palmer's City Parks in order to help create clean, safe spaces for residents and visitors.
Adopt-A-Park News:
- The Community Development Parks Department would like to recognize the Scalisi's Shootin' Specialties for adopting The A-Moosement Park.
- The Community Development Parks Department would like to recognize the Palmer Historical Society for adopting The Palmer Quad.
- The Community Development Parks Department would like to recognize the Palmer Family Church for Adopting McKechnie Park!
- The Community Development Parks Department, in conjunction with the Adopt-A-Park program, would like to send a BIG thank you to Impact Alaska & Church of the Rock Palmer for their spring 2023 clean at the Skateboard Park and the A-Moosement Park! On Sunday, May 21, 2023, Church on the Rock Palmer, as part of Impact Alaska, send out volunteers to spruce up some local parks, including the Skateboard and A-Moosement Parks. The Community Development's Adopt-A-Park program provided paint for the volunteers, and they did an incredible job painting, cleaning, and landscaping, the Skateboard Park and A-Moosement Park.
